prickoink and cactus love 2.0; and games
in the continuation
now, ha ha, look at me continuing this blog entry after almost a month lol, but nvmmmmmmm, i'll go through my previous one and iska first paragraph to find out what the heck was i planning on writing about. Lemme guess tho, a month ago mere exams just khatam hi hue they ig? and i had to start cp, and prepare for interns ig. chalo guesses karliye now let's look at previous stuff.
ok pfft i read the paragraph i wrote a month ago and just realized the quality of the shitposts that i am creating. well, not like i expected anything else.
and like i read in feaneraon's blog (i hope i got the spelling right, basically the GNOME dev whose name is Georges ig ) , being able to write blogs is a sort of a sign of a good work life balance. Not really sure if this applies to me since mostly all i do is 'life' and no work, but then again, considering the fact that when i'm wasting away my life i don't really write these blogs, and it is only during productive times that i consider this stuff (and when i get ideas while showering which i write in my keep notes aaj kal, but i'll get to those topics if i finish the blogs i start)
anyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyways.
lemme go read my previous unfinished-esque prickoink blog.
ok so that blog didn't really have anything interesting as well lol, only some far cry 3, which brings me to games, and i'll just talk briefly about my recent updates with respect to gaming.
Well, I used to like Valorant and CS:GO mostly, like the online fps format, but then i started playing Far Cry 3, and that had a nice story and very fun gameplay, plus, it didn't lag as much as valo does on my non potato laptop, and i really haven't exactly figured out the reason but i'm pretty sure and mostly all evidence points to the fact that it's the heat. but like i've found a solution for that as well, sorta, matlab not a solution but just a workaround that seems to work for me, that is i put my laptop on books, so that all of it's base is exposed to air and it's balanced on it's left and right edges by the books, which does really help with cooling, otherwise my GTA V starts to lag too (in summers atleast, haven't tried it in winters yet). And I limit the FPS of valo to 45. so yeah.
And that brings me to GTA V. Now, I know that GTA V has been around for fucking 8 year holy crap i genuinely did not realize it had been that long, but yeah, apparently it came out in 2013; and the game is awesome. I never really had either enough internet or a powerful enough laptop to play it on (mostly both), and the first time i saw a glimpse of someone playing GTA V was on a birthday of mine, I don't remember which class, but I think it was 8th-9th or 10th, which makes it 2014 - 15 - 16, mostly 9th so let's assume it was 2015, when i took my friends out on my birthday to play games in a game parlor in Rani ka Bagh, and in the end it turned out pretty cheap only around some 120 bucks for the 10 ish ? of us for around half an hour ig, when we played WWE or something lol. and someone else was playing GTA V at that time on a console beside us, and i had caught a glimpse of it then. so yeah, weird lol. Anyways, my next experience with it was when i played it on Aviral's laptop in his room (rip when we used to be in college, kab jaane milega yaaaar). anyways so yeah, that was the first time i played gta v, and i did the standard gun cheat, call police , kill police thingy, overall pretty fun, yeah.
but then, I recently downloaded GTA V on my own laptop. How i came to playing games back on my laptop again, I think it's because I wanted to play Valorant, cuz, duh, and that would lag, so i tried all sorts of things to get no log, reinstalled windows, felt like that was a huge improvement, played valo, beleived my previous sentence for a while and even got 120+ fps for a while, but then, it all went downhill and all the old stuff started happening again, I then though maybe i'll play it at 30 fps, humans can see something less than that only, but this dude said 30 is too low, so i somehow reached 45 fps. I later even tried underclocking, but was unable to do it, couldn't figure out how to work msi afterburner, so yeah, was stuck with this, but with the keeping in mid air by keeping it on the edges of books techniques really seemed to work, and since then that's how i've been playing. later i even played some csgo and thoroughly enjoyed it as well.
anyway, so since i had worked so hard, i thought maybe i should like, put my pc and under some more stress and test it some more, and basically since the fitgirl repacks make pirating and installing games so easy, even though they don't have all the games, in which case piratebay is god; so yeah like that is how i started downloading games and installing and playing them. I installed Far Cry 3, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (i think), Hitman (1), GTA V, and Witcher 3. Now, I haven't given each of these games equal hours to be able to really comment on how much i like them, but well, the call of duty was really fun and exciting but that one mission where we have to find some 'Rojas' i think ? was like so tough, like i could never find a way to go, and after like 2-3 days of trying and maybe separated by a week, i watched a youtube video on where to go, and like, apparently there was a place to go, i just somehow was too spatially unaware of my surroundings in the game and was utterly confused, but somehow, right there it was, a big alley with a staircase and after a few tries after watching that video in disbelief, i finally found it, and finished the mission. but overall it was pretty fun, and so was the next mission. but somehow, i didn't stick to it, probably because it just kept switching characters so often that once i would like one, another would start playing, and it was, kinda, like i was left hanging. definitely fun, but um, less satisfying for me, story wise. so anyyyyyyyyyyyyyways, basically COD was meh meh, Hitman was interesting but a little too slow, but i would like to play it in the future again i guess. Witcher 3, well, let's just say, i was not overwhelmed by that game, the reviews are too positive, and it definitely is a very well made game, i just, didn't understand the appeal. like what, A grey haired such and old man? nah not for me.
anyways, then there is GTA V to talk about, but ig i'll just write a post about my journey with GTA on itself.
Soo, yeah, that was hey again from paranthaboi! I have a sort of a few ideas on my list that i might write about, and i think that writing about these is kinda a good idea since maybe i could use these in the future as youtube video ideas. maybe. anyways, have fun, i'll see myself again in the next post.
anyways, here are a few photos from around last month i think, one day it rained and I was out right after and it looked cool and pretty plus since it had just rained the air saturation was high and therefore the colors are better, anyways, bye!
